Food & Drink

Join Foodies Festival this summer for a 3-day veritable feast where you’ll find a haven for every foodie, whether you’d rather taste flavours of the world in the street food village or make a bee-line for the Cakes & Desserts Theatre.

Watch the UK’s culinary masters and take home recipe secrets and cooking tips from top chefs who will be cooking up a storm in the Chef’s Theatre, with an all-star line up including new Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebutt, twice Michelin Starred Adam Simmonds and Atul Kochhar, top TV chef Rosemary Shrager, MasterChef Winner 2016 Jane Devonshire & healthy eating sensation Deliciously Ella.

Be inspired by Great British Bake Off Winner Candice Brown to pick up your spatula in one hand and your lippy in the other in the Cakes and Desserts Theatre, or ask the new Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith for the insider scoop on Paul Hollywood.

Once you’ve had your share of cake in the Cakes & Desserts Theatre, wash it all down in the Drinks Theatre for a wine, craft beer, champagne or cocktail masterclass by TV wine expert Charles Metcalfe or beer critic Melissa Cole “taking the beard out of beer”.

Get hands on in a Creative Summer Workshop making midsummer cupcakes, psychedelic meringues or flower crowns, or find a Drinks Masterclass to suit your every taste with champagne, gin, cocktail and craft beer expert led sessions. With over 200 exhibitors and award-winning local artisan producers, a Street Food Village, the brand new Cakes and Desserts Theatre, a Kids Cookery School, Live Music Stage, Healthy Living Area, Chef’s Theatre and Food and Drink masterclasses, Foodies Festival has all the key ingredients of a great day out for families and for friends.

After a day of feasting and fun, relax on the grass and soak in the atmosphere with an Unsigned Live Music stage set to be bigger and better than ever. Taste delicious sample dishes at the Pop-Up Restaurant Tents and wash it all down with a refreshing cocktail or a Pimm’s from the Giant Pimm’s Teapot.
