“Early in my career I was head chef at The Grill at The London Dorchester from late 2006. I was previously Tom Aikens’ head chef at his Chelsea restaurant and I have worked with several other high profile chefs such as Paul Rankin and David Adlard.

I have also worked at Pied á Terre in London, Adlard’s in Norwich, Peacock Alley and the Commons in Dublin and Danesfield House in Buckinghamshire.

At the age of 22, I became the youngest chef ever to win a Michelin star.

In 2008 I opened The Church Green in Lymm. A change of concept turned the restaurant into The Church Green British Grill, and in 2012 we were given the prestigious AA Restaurant of the Year Award in England.

In July 2011 I opened the British Grill in the 4-star Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel in Ledsham, near Chester. The 120-cover restaurant achieved 2 AA Rosettes within less than 8 weeks of opening.

I opened Manchester House with Tim Bacon of Living Ventures in 2012, and the restaurant went on to win a host of awards and accolades, including 4 AA Rosettes.

I have made numerous TV appearances, including MasterChef, The Great British Menu and BBC documentary Restaurant Wars – The Battle for Manchester.”
