From professional session drummer to Yorkshire chef, Al Roberto set up Leeds-based Simmer Kitchen which hosts private dinner parties, chef demonstrations and more, has now moved his company & family up to Fife.
While Al has only been up in Fife for a short time he has already worked and collaborated with some great companies such as lindores at the hide, Hawkswood Estate & running pop-ups around St Andrews, as well as running food demos & kids cooking workshops around Edinburgh. Al has now opened up his first resturant in Cupar called Osteria by simmer kitchen offering woodfire pizza, Scottish & Italian tasting menus.
Al comes from a Sicilian family, so his style of food tends to hit the Mediterranean palate but loves using local Scottish produce.
All about fresh flavours and honest food, Al says, “its amazing up here the produce is stunning!’’
