Dean Parker, head chef and co-owner of Celentano’s, Glasgow, started his cooking career in London after moving from South Africa. He left London after working as executive chef at Darby’s for Robin Gill to open Celentano’s with wife Anna in 2021. Celentano’s is not a traditional Italian, but a relaxed Italian-inspired restaurant, focusing on local and seasonal produce. As Dean is a keen baker and preserver, the sourdough bread, pasta, cheese and many other ingredients on the menu are made in house.
