Gill became Great British Bake Off 2024’s very own ‘Angel of the North’, making it to the
semi-finals by showcasing her traditional baking style, infused with her humour and modern
twists.

At the heart of her baking is good, home-cooked food that brings comfort, boosts
celebrations and most importantly holds precious memories of family, friends and special
occasions.

She continues to use her skills to raise money for Alzheimer’s charities and is an active
volunteer for Free Cakes for Kids, as well as sharing her love of baking on Instagram.
Gill looks forward to seeing you at the Foodies Festival as she continues in her ongoing
mission to share Northern Portions with the world!
