Young talented Manish Narain Sharma grew up in Delhi where he studied Hotel Management. He took the opportunity to travel to the UK, pursuing his dreams of being part of the vibrant hospitality scene.

In 2014, Chef Manish joined the Moti Mahal, a renowned chain of restaurants. Chef Atul Kochhar identified his talent and very soon, Manish joined his team at Sindhu, Marlow.

Since then, Chef Manish has been an important part of opening teams for establishments such as Jamavar, Tamarind, Kahani, Copper Chimney, to name a few.

Upon joining Black Salt, Chef Manish has achieved showcasing his unique skills and culinary magic through the Menu by including some dishes rarely found in

neighbourhood restaurants, using fresh, quality and seasonal ingredients. His focus was to create the menu in a way incorporating a variety of plant-based dishes & keeping in mind healthy living.

You will find him interacting with diners when he’s not too busy in the kitchen driving the team through a busy service.

Black Salt Sheen is a Michelin rated neighbourhood restaurant that opened in June 2021.

Black Salt was created by father and daughter team, Sanjay Patel and Simeron Lily and the award-winning chefs and restaurateurs, Sanjay Gour and Nand Kishor Semwal.
