I’m Omie,- owner of OmieBakes, a home based bakery in St Albans specialising in bespoke cupcakes and tall cakes for special occasions. My cakes are colourful edible works of art and I only use wholesome and fresh good quality ingredients, so they always taste just a good as they look. I’m a pharmacist by trained profession, but my passion for baking and decorating cakes inspired OmieBakes as a business in 2021 after years of gifting free cakes and cupcakes to family, friends and colleagues. 

Thankfully my cakes and cake designs have been well received outside of my friend circles and we are sailing through our 3rd year as a bespoke cake business. I also offer 1:1 or small group hands on classes to anyone willing to learn or improve their baking and/or decorating skills.
